I would recommend setting the alarm on your phone or watch and waking up extra early before the rest of the group, sit on the toilet and make sure you are empty before leaving on the raft trip. Having a cup of coffee or tea 1st thing helps empty some people out (from the caffeine a stimulant that can make your gut muscles move and pass your poop), not at all for others but it is something you can try in advance. Also Imodium is something you can try, it helps slow down the digestive process which can remove some of the urgency (some of us use it before long car trips or other things of the like). Some have the urgency to go after eating and for them skipping meals, or eating later can help. You could try skipping breakfast and/or lunch entirely and see if it changes your bowel habit of going around lunchtime.
Best of all, these are things you can try ahead of time and see if they help you or not. Best to go with confidence, forget about uc for a few days, and most of all have fun. A raft trip sounds exciting, enjoy! I've done some white water rafting in class II and III rapids and it rocks.
