Just wanted to thank everyone for their advice and caring. I asked about red itchy ears with UC, and I was starting to get scared. I have health anxiety anyway and not knowing what was going on didn't help. Plus my GI doctor didn't help matters. I saw the dermatologist today and expected him to say skin cancer. Thank god he didn't and he said it is contact dermatitis. I still don't know what is causing it but he has me using steroid cream and see him in 2 weeks. So again I appreciate everyone thank you.

I know that feeling. My doctors all kept trying to give me valuim and Xanax instead of figuring out what was wrong. The GI I have now simply said IBS at first then after a year and 5 ER trips did he finally do another colon and endoscopy. Said he was sorry for missing the UC with the last ones. Those test suck and I was so discouraged to go through them twice. I have a great family doctor but she can only do so much. What a pleasant surprise it was to have a great first visit with this dermatologist. Thank you for your support. Best wishes to you also.
