Fecal Transplant : choose your donor carefully

Hi all, I just read this today.

I think I had read something similar in mice, a long time ago. It wasn't about obesity though. It had to do with autistic behavior. After a fecal transplant from reclusive mice, the regular mice became reclusive too.

It seems that the gut bacteria affect more than just our pooping schedules. This doesn't surprise me at all because I've noticed that my ability to think clearly has just about disappeared (compared to before) since my UC flare began one year ago. I used to be smarter than I am now. :( I miss my brain.

Sorry to hear that your remission came at a price. Do you know if your donor experiences anxiety?
I haven't done a FT but I thought the article was interesting.
