I seem to do well with oats to. And resistant starch. I tend to swing back and forth between SCD/IBD-Aid or paleo type diets.
Mainly I just try to avoid foods that I know bother me and pretty much all SCD foods are a go - or if I;m feeling a little more off than usual returning to a fe days of SCD always seems to help.
I was juts sitting here wondering if the change in bacteria is more so not from the food itself, but the reduction in inflammation. Most likely a combo of both.
EDIT: Also I only know (in real life, not online) one person with Ulcerative Colitis that is able to control it fully with SCD and no meds. I rarely here of this on the site here. She's been SCD for some 15 years now. Crazy. But it works for her. To bad everyone isn't like that.
