So I've been on both Mezavont and Asacol before. Both made me break out in horrible acne. I may give Pentasa a try and see what that does. Has anyone noticed a difference in side effects between different 5-asa? My doctor said it's worth a shot. I haven't been on any 5-asa in a few years and wanted to give them another go.

Hmmm interesting! I've heard of Colazal but I didn't know that it didn't have the coating. I don't think it's available in Canada though, from what I can find online. Anyone in Canada have any experience with Colazal? Or has anyone had better success with Pentasa (in terms of less side effects)?
