Confused beets or a trouble?

Hi guys! Hope everyone is doing well. Have a question if you guys don't mind....last Saturday, Sunday and Monday I tried beets for the first time and fell in love with them to the point where I finished an entire container myself. Then I went to the bathroom on Wednesday saw a drop of what I thought was blood, and on Friday evening and Saturday morning the bleeding was crazy!!!! I've never seen anything like this and I got so scared. Saturday mid day everything was back to normal and today I would say there is still some left over darkish blood I'm the stool. Is this a flare??? Or is this beets? Little scared and not sure what to do

Most likely beets as they can definitely change the color.
Especially if you are not used to them.

We had a guest who tasted beets and the next day she was freaking out cuz she had red urine. It was just beeturia
It can also stain stools
Don't worry it's fine. Keep eating them if you enjoyed them ( they are quite healthy)

definitely beets. I have had a lot of crazy situations with beets. I had it most recently with my ostomy pouch, I thought i was bleeding. It was the beets. :)

Ok thanks for that I was so scared. So it's normal that still some "bleeding" a week later? Like dark color stuff

its not blood its pigments from the beets :) completely safe

I've never had it more than a day or two after. More than that is questionable. The blood from beets is really dark, almost more of a purple or maroon than red.

No so I just went to the bathroom and pieces of blood are coming out. I'm really scared and the toilet paper is bright red. I have no idea what this is. It's really scaring me

I'm sorry. It can be scary to see blood.
Cal your GI
When you say " pieces of blood" are they dark or bright red.
Bright red blood usually indicates lower down bleeds while dark blood indicates bleeding from higher up.
Is it possible you have a hemmeroid

Brightish color. Ya I'm thinking hemroid. Emailed GI he said let's give it till the weekend so I'm fine with that
