Have any of you guys had issues when using tramadol? I am taking 50mg every 8 hours (or a little more frequently), but I've had this MASSIVE headache over my left temple since I've been taking it and terrible chills. Today I slept literally all day and when I took my temp I was at 102.3.
Finally decided to not taking it and take Tylenol instead, the headache is going away and I'm assuming fever is breaking because I'm sweating like a pig.
Plus side, my mild flare I've been back in was very mellow today (or I was just distracted)

Fever could be the cause of those symptoms and Tylenol reduces fever. Tramadol does not.
I was told to contact my doctor immediately if I have a fever ( not that i did for fear of being hospitalized)

That's where I am at too...I don't want to go back to the hospital. Going to email my doc in the morning if it's not better, I want to be sure I don't have some kind of infection going on since I have my third infusion scheduled for the 27th.

email now so that your GI team gets it first thing in the AM
and if you wake up and are feeling better you can let them know
but generally fevers are lower in the morning and higher in the evenings although they start to get lower at about
7pm or so
good luck

Tramadol normally doesn't cause a reaction like this so it's possible you contracted a virus. But this virus must be gone before you get your next infusion. In fact, they won't give you an infusion if your temp is over 99.0.

My fever keeps coming and going, no other symptoms of being sick. Headache is at least gone. My doctor is very good at replying via email but doesn't always say much... So right now I'm still just laying low. Been off work for almost two weeks. Still in flare but still no blood or mucus. Biggest complaint is the pain. Also I got my period, 5 days early, which is 5 days earlier than last month...I did ask him if that was a side effect of entyvio but he doesn't think so.
I really don't think the tramadol does much so I'm not taking it more than once or twice a day.

I remember many comments on entyvio Warriors about
changes in periods and one of the moderators posted a screen shot of it being included in the list of side effects.

I take Tramadol for pain from peripheral neuropathy and arthritis. I can take 50mg. every six hours, but I rarely take it more than twice a day.
