hi
I've been following this site for a few months.There's something that caught my attention.There are too many drug consumption.I 'm sick of ulcerative colitis for 15 years.There are wounds in the intestines of 40-50 cm.




3 * 3 days I use Salofalk granüstück
When I'm using 16-24 mg flare Since PREDNOL.15-20 days is enough.The next very important subject that we are going peh.why people are using this as a high dose of drugs.I lived these past events.The damage has given the drug if one does not take into account.

hey nejet - I pretty much agree with you - unfortunately the reality is that in some cases, drugs are about the only option. at least in the short term. long term I think some sort of non-drug course should be taken.

Every case of ulcerative colitis is different. Some people have a very mild case of ulcerative colitis, and the very mild anti-inflammatory medication (like your salofalk) is enough for them to control their symptoms. Some of us have very, very severe cases of uc, and we have no choice but to use many strong medications just to live a mostly normal life. Be thankful you don't need them all. Cheers,

I agree with both of the above. All cases are different and while mild cases ca be managed more easily, severe cases sometimes can't even be stopped with the available drugs. Mine was compeltely drug resistant. I ended up having surgery and I am DONE with meds :) This makes me very happy. Surgery is no walk in the park though so I wouldn't consider it if I were well managed on medication. On the other hand, I feel like it was the best thing for me.

If I don't take my azathioprine even for a day I'll get sick. People keep telling me I shouldn't do drugs but why do I have to stop if it keeps me in remission?

my illness I Pancolitis.much has intensified attacks at various times.15-20 times a day I was going to the toilet.As my illness was not considered a basic level.

Science has indicated that food may help with symptoms but not with the inflammation. It is also very clear that inflammation is very dangerous. There are medications to reduce the inflammation and they have been proven scientifically to be safer than the effects of inflammation.
While no one is forcing you to take medications. It is not something that you should come and make others feel guilty for doing. We are following the science and evidence and are trying to make the wisest choices for ourselves.
Also Just a little reminder that natural does not mean healthy. I mean cyanide is found naturally but if we consume it...

I believe in the influence of drugs.but no diseases as they not known that drugs.only to stop the disease process and prevent the progression.If you already found the exact medication ends disease.I believe it is extremely pay attention to food anyway.
