It is important for us doing fmt to be mindful about the mental health of the donor along with the history of their family mental health. I don't know whether a questionnaire cuts it for donors at clinics regarding their past or present state of mind and whether they have family members with mental health issues or whether the clinics just focus on the physical attributes. This was a very important factor to me with my donor. Knowing my donor and their past/present mental state as well as their physical health was equally important. As I have seen it said many times before both here and elsewhere, the mind and gut are connected. There is so much we don't know about fmt but when the chips are down and life is so miserable, sometimes you just got to do what you got to do.
