Hi beave -
I had an adenoma some years back and since then I have been scoped annually. Last year the reports mentioned a serrated polyp, so I had an additional scoping, with dye, three months later. (And that scoping/biopsies did not show the serrated polyp, which gave us pause...)
So, I am sorry - on default I used the language I use to calm my 90 yr old mother down when she asks.

There has been visible inflammation but not much that has caused symptoms over the past decade or so. Twice a year I will go into mini-flare and nip it with steroid enemas. Last February, about
a year ago, there was significant inflammation, and I was on Uceris for 8 weeks. Then I went on 6 mp, and my liver enzymes went crazy, so my GI had me stop that after about
4 months of increasingly worse blood tests.
Yes, we'll see what the insurance says.....
