Stool sample question!!

Hi everyone

I need to collect a stool sample for c diff test . How important is it that my sample have actual stool in them? I've been ill and vomiting for days and do not pass much more than blood and various forms of mucus because I can barely eat a few crackers in day. So I'm thinking that if it comes out, it should be testable, but wanted to check with the experts first and see if that makes sense.

I guess I will have to be patient because there is no telling if a bathroom trip will actually produce enough stool or not.
