I just got my shipment of Zico 100% natural coconut water the other day from Amazon and the stuff doesnt taste that great although better when cold, however, I do notice some improvement already. I also started the SCD today and given the Zico is 100% natural I think it is okay to have. I had a bunch of fruit and just cooked some salmon for lunch. I've tried the SCD last year but I was still having bad symptoms so now that I am in remission and have more energy I think I can give it a better shot. My previous attempt was short-lived. I'm nervous though because I know it is going to require intense discipline and work to keep it going but I am also aware that it "should" get easier. Food has always been a weakness of mine so it will be a constant battle for a good while. I've been at 2-3 bms a day, some formed, some not (especially when I eat fried foods and the like), no blood, slight urgency at times! I also have a small peri-anal fistula and it is a real pain in the a#$ (pun intended!) So i'm giving the SCD a good shot before looking at an immunosuppresant which is a conventional technique to get the fistula to heal, although reoccurence is an issue. I'm just sick of being sick of being of being sick etc etc etc.... So I am going to give this SCD thing a whole-hearted try. At this point with all this disease has taken from me, I'm ready to do what I got to do. Sorry for the rant! Any feedback on positive SCD experiences would be great inspiration! I believe this diet can help some achieve and retain remission, although given how tough it is remaining faithful will be something short of a miracle but I am hopeful something good can come of it. All the best! - Sal
