WorriedUCer: I originally just assumed it was in dairy products and dairy substitutes, so had not been checking labels religiously. Carrageenan can be labeled as "Irish Moss," "processing aid," "chondrus crispus," and one other way that I can't recall. There's a partial list of "safe" products here, but ingredients change, so always check labels:

I have now found it in:
- Sorbet (including sorbet made locally)
- Frozen juice bars
- Cold cuts (many of the ones that are refrigerated, pre-packaged seem to have it. Some deli brands, such as some Boar's Head products, do not)
- Rotisserie chickens - I was eating this a lot during this flare because I had no energy to cook and it was bland - turns out I was giving myself a steady diet of carrageenan
- Non-dairy milks and ice creams (e.g., Ben & Jerry's Dairy Free - not all flavors but most - some almond and soy milks, creamers, etc.)
- Non-dairy cream cheese and cheese (Tofutti has it - some Follow Your Heart products have it. Field Roast Chao Slices are currently safe).
Even our local gourmet vegan/gluten-free chocolatier, who also makes GF/vegan cheeses, has it in their cheeses :/
There are some brands that seem to have removed it - Silk, Blue Diamond, So Delicious - but check individual product labels.
FYI - it looks like organic products will not be allowed to use carrageenan after 2018: http://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2016/12/12/504558025/carrageenan-backlash-why-food-firms-are-ousting-a-popular-additive
