Iron pills and colonoscopy prep

So I screwed up. My mom threw away my prep sheet on accident so I had her print me off a new one at her work today since I have a colonoscopy tomorrow. It's my 4th one so she probably figured I had it memorized. Well I looked at it and saw the "stop taking iron 7 days before." I've been taking 2 iron pills a day until last night because my doctor told me to since my last blood test showed I'm anemic. I also apparently have elevated liver enzymes, but that's a different question for a different day. So basically I'm freaking out because I'm doing the prep and worrying that I screwed myself by taking iron. I tried googling it and all I found was it saying iron make a your stools black and tarry - duh and it might make it harder to see. I'm just wondering if I'm pooping out somewhat clear liquid by the end of the night will I be ok? Ugh I'm so mad at myself right now.

Well I'm screwed. Not going clear at all. It's completely liquid but brown. I thought I had an enema around here somewhere but apparently I don't. Thought I'd use that and see if it helped at all. I took a few more dulcolax and my miralax prep is done. Plus it's midnight so not much else I can do anyways. Threw up most of it a couple hours ago too. Never had that happen before although I know it's common. I'm just so mad I didn't have the paper to read through again before now. I want to scream and cry right now. I've heard of doctors being able to clean you out a little before. Hoping that's an option. Just shoot some water up and vacuum it out would be easy. I guess the only positive is that it's not an urgent colonoscopy. It's just been 3 years since my last one and my doctor thought it was about time. But this is my last year on my mom's insurance and then next year starts mine from my work so maybe my insurance will cover another one next year if I need it. I hope I don't. I hope I'm freaking out for nothing. But I'm gonna tell my doctor everything tomorrow. That I didn't realize I had to stop taking iron, that I threw up the prep, and that I'm liquid but not clear. Then at least he has a heads up. Ugh I'm so upset.
