Over the years my libido is now almost negligible .... mainly caused by fatigue. Anyone else?

Normal here. Are you currently flaring, anemic (with low blood iron), have low vitamins B, B12, or D? As any of those things could cause fatigue. Some of us do struggle with fatigue even within a remission though...

Yea I'm wondering myself. Just about few months before my surgery my soldier wouldn't come to attention(do u need more of a description??) so I'm wondering if bad flare combined with Prenisone could of affected it. Or I just turned 60 and had my 3 surgeries in 2018. Not a year where us males are 100% with dehydration issues etc. I'm getting divorced and not getting intimate right now but I think it's better.

Yes, struggle with fatigue even in remission. Fatigue was my first symptom (and it has never subsided - I’ve just learned to manage it better). I was a very energetic young woman, on a successful, demanding career path when I became ill.
Rest and sleep is much more appealing then expelling energy on sex 🤣 at my age now (60)!

I think that's normal. When I am flaring I just want to sleep. When I am well, I feel pretty normal all around.

Sex drive was zero when I was flaring. Temper wasn't great either, so I could have killed my doctor when she suggested I might be pregnant after I told her I had missed 3 periods. "No" I said firmly. "Are you suuuuuure?" she asked coyly. Well I didn't kill her but totally ripped into her to explain how I could be suuuuuure I wasn't pregnant with no need for any tests.

I gave the woman doing my pre-scope pregnancy test the death stare on Tuesday when she was "concerned" that I could be pregnant. I haven't had a period since November 14 and there is no way in !@#$ that I am pregnant. Of course I did the test, but geez! I guess people don't know what it is like to have UC!

Was recently in the hospital and they insisted on a pregnancy test. My husband and I just laaaaaaghed and laaaaughed.

Everything below my belly button is white hot pain. Ain’t nobody having fun in this house right now.

So Celeric no need for the headache as an excuse??? Tell hubby water in shower should be set to extra cold. My wife knows when I'm flaring that Godzilla won't be breathing fire anytime soon. Sorry hunny

My drive isn't great. I think it's mostly due to boredom. Have you had your hormones checked? I had basic test once and my Testosterone was literally ZERO. I know I am F, but we should have some too. I wonder if it's related... The GP must have not been so great because she didn't offer any further info. The odd part is that I get pimples - I am old for them, and that's hormonal, so definitely something weird with my hormones overall. I have sexual dreams, so I know the sex drive is in there somewhere. It's hiding smile

I hate how men's sex drive is such a huge focus for the world, but women are barely able to talk about it, and if we do, people think "eh it's not that important". If a man loses his drive or ability, everyone feels so bad for him, it's almost like he lost a limb, or he might as well be dead. If we don't get turned on, we are told to use lube and pretend, which is on par with man using a toy on a women in my opinion. Only one person is enjoying it...
