Interesting that flaxseed is on the list of microbiome targetted. I've had great luck mixing and cooking together flaxseed and oats.
Raw flaxseed didn't work.
I recommend googling flaxseed and microbiome. There's at least one study that shows it changes our gut microbiome to a greater degree than probiotics.
