Do you take your pills all at once or at different parts of the day?

My prescription says I'm supposed to take 2 tablets 3 times daily. Do I have to do that or can I take them all at once?

You need to spread them out. If you were supposed to take them all at once it would say take 6 tablets (before meals, or on an empty stomach, or with food).

Ideally take them spread apart. However if that timing means you'll forget, then consolidate them. Better to take them together then consistently miss dosages.

Ucers can tend to forget the middle day dosage. I prefer morning and night because of my schedule.
They really don't have to be taken 3 times daily, and can be taken with or without food. They travel throughout at their own speed....found that out during a c-scope where one was still happily releasing the med even after the prep. I hadn't taken any meds 24 hours before that.

I'm supposed to take 3 pills 3 times a day, 9 pills total Balsalazide. But kept forgetting to take the middle 3 so switched to twice a day, 5 morning 4 at dinner. No problems at all and better than forgetting the middle dose.
