Hello. I am wondering if anyone else on here it gets low grade fever’s with UC. Since this flare in for months I will have fevers from 99.1 to 100.2. It feels at times like I just hit a wall. I started Remicade a week ago and am on 30 mg of prednisone.

Yes. Only in really severe flares, of which I have had 2 in 17 years..

Yes, sometimes it's the first symptom of a flare. I usually don't take my temperature though, just notice that I'm hot...

Thanks for the info. Yes I think historically I tend to get this low-grade fever’s even with slight flares. It’s really weird.

Low grade fevers are documented with UC patients and Crohn's patients. Not common, perhaps in 10 percent or less of us. It's most common when flaring.

Hi I had low grade fevers during flares. Not much in the beginning but towards the end it was very common for me. I had surgery and the fevers have stopped. However I'm back on azathioprine because I develop arthritis and low grade fever if I don't take it.
