Hi all,
Due to delays in shipments to my local pharmacy (Thanks 'rona!), I will not be able to take my daily dosage of mesalamine (generic Lialda) until tomorrow evening.
The question to everyone - should I continue with this dosage in the evening or skip tomorrow's dose, and just wait until the next morning to stay on schedule? (I typically take my meds between 6:30 - 7:30 in the morning)
I am afraid having too much meds in me so close together might cause more problems than good.
Thanks in advance for any help!

sometimes when I've forgotten my morning tablets I take them in the evening and then the next day I split the dose between morning and evening. Or the next day I take it in the afternoon (so 6 hours early/late, depending on how you look at it). Depending on what dose you're taking, the risk of causing damage by taking 2 sets close together is quite small

Up to you, I think you'd be fine either way. Missing one dose won't cause a flare. And taking two days doses the same day is safe.

Sooo... i wound up going to a nice little road trip to a pharmacy that had my meds. Only missed a day though.
