Taking Entyvio 5 months. Symptoms much better, but every two days colon feels crampy and bathroom trips increased to 4 or so. Anyone else experience this?

I have been on Entyvio since December 2019 and it has truly helped to about 85% healing. I do have an uptick in symptoms a few days after infusion, which is weird. I also have mostly rectal inflammation, so I am still bleeding, even with Uceris foam, Canasa and Rowasa, so that's no fun.

I was using rectal meds but quit and haven’t had the bleeding. They appeared to make it worse. That’s just my opinion though. Do you think diet makes a difference? Doctors always say no, but I wonder.

Sounds like Entyvio has helped you. It's pretty slow acting so can take a while to completely get to remission. As long as you are seeing improvements week to week (rather than day to day) and aren't getting worse then it's working. You could talk to your doc about checking your levels if you feel you are back sliding. You could be building antibodies (that happened to me after a blissful full remission on Entyvio)

Some people say that diets help them, others not so much. Certain foods can bother me so I avoid them.

Yes I had this happen especially early on. I’ve been on it for some time now and in remission and it doesn’t happen very often now. But sometimes the week or two — or sometimes it was about a month after an infusion but then went away as I got closer to the next — before an infusion I’d have an uptick in cramping or frequency. I use Canasa suppositories or uceris foam at those times and it helps calm things down. Again doesn’t happen as often now. I have my 25th infusion on Tuesday and am feeling great! I do notice too much sugar will sometimes set me off — other times I’m fine with sugar now.
