Xeljanz and muscle pain

Hi, I have been on Xeljanz for 15 weeks at the higher dose: 10mg, twice a day.

My UC symptoms have all but disappeared. After 7 years on Remicade, that medication stopped working. It's been a game changer. Quality of life is great.

Now, for the flip side. Two weeks ago, I starting developing acute muscle pain and weakness from the hips down to the legs. I had to stop playing squash and pickleball. I had an xray of my left hip and everything is normal. I know that this is anecdotal but I suspect that Xeljanz may cause this muscle pain and weakness.

Anyone out there who has experienced something similar?[img][/img]

Is it listed as a side effect? I would have expected such a side effect to appear sooner than 15 weeks. You might have a trapped nerve or disc issue in your spine causing referred pain, which would not show on an xray.
I get all kinds of muscle pain due to a degenerated disc, unrelated to xeljanz.
