Just wondering

1 Is there lymphoma risk associated with Entyvio just like Remicade or Humira? I don't see it in the drug information.

2. Do you have to take 6mp or immuran with Entyvio like other biologics?

3. Or if it triggers other conditions like psoriasis or lupus like some of the bioloigics?

I’ve been on entyvio for 4+ years and in remission. It’s now my only UC drug. A blood test before I started it showed the 6mp class of drugs was not a good option for me so I took methotrexate for a couple of months or more. Then my GI said a new study ( at the time) showed that an extra immunosuppressant wasn’t really necessary with entyvio so he had me stop taking it.

Btw since your post title says entyvio side effects I will add that I have no side effects. Haven’t been sicker than before and actually feel like I’ve caught fewer colds or flu since being on it.

Thank you. I started post while thinking about long term side effects and then had few more questions. So assume that it is standard practice not to add 6 mp with entyvio. Thanks again.

I can't use 6mp or imuran (liver didn't like it) so I am not taking either of them with Remicade. Just had my levels checked and as high as they are doc says it's unlikely that I would develop antibodies.

I had no side effects from Entyvio. Sadly it stopped working for me, but many have great success with it.
