Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with hives while being on Imuran? I've been experiencing an itchy rash with small mosquito like bites mainly in my scalp, neck and upper chest area since yesterday.. the rash is only visible in the morning and then slowly gets better as the morning goes on although I start feeling itchy at nighttime so this is a night / morning thing. I just sent a note to my doctor but thought I would ask here as well. I've been on imuran since 2015 and haven't experienced this before so not really sure what's going on.

I am in Imuran and sometimes get hives, but generally from an allergy. I would get them frequently before I started taking Imuran. I think reaching out to your doctor is wise. Did you try taking an antihistamine and did they go away?

Thanks everyone, I haven’t taken any antihistamine yet..the rash is much better but still see 1 or 2 small patches around the neck area and the scalp is a bit itchy. I’m just baffled because I don’t know what would have caused this besides my meds. I looked it up and found a few articles that mention it could be a preliminary symptom of Covid too. I did a Covid test at home and it came back negative but will probably go to the doctors office tomorrow morning and get another test done.
