Have you had blood tests done to check for antibodies to Humira?
Also, have you had blood tests done to check for ANAs (anti nuclear antibodies) and anti histone antibodies? Sometimes people on anti-TNFs develop drug-induced lupus, with sun sensitivity and rash being common symptoms of that.
You should have those done.
If they're negative, and you have been in deep remission for a while (year or more), you could certainly talk to your gastro about reducing the frequency of the Humira.
If they're positive, then you should talk to your gastro about stopping Humira altogether, and starting something else instead. There are lots of options for UC now.
