I don't know about
your drug. I have been infused with Reclast but that seems to be recommended only every year or two. I had bleeding about
the same time as taking the tablet Fosamax but there is no way to be sure about
cause and effect. An endocrinologist was the one who wanted the change to Reclast. See an endocrinologist if you can.

I have been on prolia for 4 years, as advised by the bone metabolism specialist at my hospital (I was 36 at the time), I presume because of the side effects of bisphosphonates.

Recently I heard from the periodontist that the treatments for oste
openia/osteoporosis can be harmful to patients who already have oral bone loss. It seems like we have to approach any Rx for bone loss meds cautiously. I do have a female senior friend w/o GI issues but 2 joint replacement surgeries who is doing well on Prolia for a couple years now. / Old Hat (40+ yrs with left-sided UC; in remission taking Colazal)

I was referred to the geriatrics department for my treatment plan 🤣
But i didn't speak to them directly, my gastroenterologist spoke with them.
