Are you taking the Stone Stopper supplements? Do you think they are helping?.

My urologist had me start alternating.... Potassium citrate one day and then the Stone Stopper the next day... 🤞🤞🤞So far so good.

I hope yours gets better .... Smaller.... Quieter.... Lol...

Hi! Well, my urologist asked me to start taking from Theralogix / Theralith XR vitamin and mineral supplement. He said I don't have to take the stone stopper while I take this supplement. I've been taking it now for a couple of weeks. I go for an ultra sound in November and then I'll be seeing him again to see.

As far as the lungs go, it's going.....LOL I have a cat scan in November and then see my Oncologist. I'm still waiting for the blood work to come back (it's a new blood test). That takes around 6 weeks.

I still am coughing a bit and have a bit of acid reflux, all are normal after lung surgery.

Re reflux...that could definitely be connected to your coughing. If you aren't on a med for it, you could start with ranitidine before a ppi.

Quincy; my cousin has reflux. She is taking Famotidine. I ordered it online. I'll see how that works. If it doesn't work, I'll try the ranitidine.
I just searched for Ranitidine on Amazon and it comes up with Famotidine. Are they the same?

FYI, Ranitadine was pulled from the market in the US in 2020. Here is a link from the FDA about it:

Sorry you are still dealing with the after effects from the surgery and hope those stones are all tiny!

So far, the stones are very very tiny. I'm having an ultrasound done in November. I'm also having a cat scan done for my lungs too.

Michele...i just checked, and Zantac 360 and Pepcid AC are now Famotidine. Ranitidine is by prescription. I wouldn't suggest the Pepcid Complete though as it has aluminum in it (not an issue for some people).

I will and thank you! I went back to work today (commuting). It wasn't bad. I'll be going into the city every Wednesday and working the rest from home for now.

I took a Famotidine last night. Worked great!

Yes!

I got the blood test back. The new blood test that takes six weeks to get the results. It tests the blood for tumor cells. The test came back negative!!! The doctor said we will just be monitoring with cat scans for now. IF, the cancer does come back, we will talk at that point.

I also filed all my paperwork with 9/11 Victims compensation fund. Everything has been accepted. I have a virtual phone call in a couple of weeks with a doctor affiliated with them. I sent them all my tests and results from this surgery. We will see what happens. I was at work two weeks after the terror attacks, which puts me in contact with all that smoke, asbestos, etc that came from the buildings.

I will. The 9/11 fund is very time consuming. Sometimes it takes years to get compensation, if any, after you file. So many people got very sick from that horrific event. When I went back to work two weeks after, I was walking in what appeared to be sand. It was horrible. And the smell was so bad.

I'm praying this cancer never comes back!! The Doctor is very positive and told me that while he cannot be 100% sure, he's very positive that it's gone for good and the cat scans will at least monitor everything.

Oh I can't even imagine what it would have been like to be walking around there so soon after the event.

It was surreal. There were a lot of bomb dogs and army personnel all over the place. I saw a lot of what looked like sand covering the ground. That sand was the buildings and everything in them that got polverized into powder. And I remember that time of year it was warm out, even into December the weather was warm which made the smell worse. The smell in the air lasted until the end of December and into the next year. Ground Zero, as they called it, was on fire and smouldering for many months after.

Oh I never knew about the smoldering continuing for so long! Just awful, no wonder there are so many health problems resulting from being in that area. Mental health just as much as physical, I would think.

A ton of mental health problems too. I did visit the area a few years ago and it's beautiful but I got a very "heavy" type feeling while I was there. It is, after all, a grave site. It was humbling and very solemn.
