question for people ever used entyvio

I have been on entyvio since April 2023 every 8 weeks. It seemed like working till May 2024 when I had to take antibiotics and in June 2024 colonoscopy it showed really mild inflammation in rectum and descending colon. But bleeding and mucus is still constant symptoms since then. GI changed to every 6 weeks and during last infusion, I started coughing and nurse stopped the infusion. She is thinking I had reaction. I am seeing GI tomorrow and had blood test showing high WBC 14.2 and high eosinophils absolute 1114 and ABSOLUTE NEUTROPHIL 7981 and ABSOLUTE LYMPHOCYTES 4047 and platelets 557.
It's been 5 weeks since last infusion at the time of blood test. I do have little scratchy throat. I read somewhere high eosinophils means entyvio not working. Other results are high but not too high. Please let me know of thought if you failed entyvio. I am seeing GI tomorrow and will post what he says but I really don't think my GI knows IBD well. Thanks.

How many infusions have you had at every 6 weeks? If you have had more than 3 with no improvement then I would say it's not working for you anymore. There is a blood test that you can get to check the levels/antibodies, but since you are already at every 6 weeks not sure there is any point to that.

Odd that you had a reaction to Entyvio since you have been on it for over a year with no issues. No idea what to say about that.

There are a lot of options for a new med. Some are just pills like Xeljanz and Rinvoq. Others are either self injections or infusions. They all work by targeting different mechanisms in our bodies.
