checking in - OT

Hi all! I am not spending that much time at my computer these days, so it's been a while. I am doing fine. I have scans every 3 months to make sure the cancer is stable, and I'm due for a scan in the next month or so. But last time all was well, so I'm optimistic.
I'm going to drive back to our old ;location so my surgeon can give me a pouchoscopy. I've had some intermittent rectal bleeding; it seems to be several days after a chemo treatment. So we want to see what's going on, and I trust my surgeon, so it's worth the drive and overnight.
My husband and I continue to flunk retirement; we are sharing a job directing the choir and playing the organ at a historically large church (most are not large any longer!) in the nearby city. It keeps my mind focused on something other than my health, which is a good thing.

Good plan to see the surgeon re the bleeding. Please let us know the outcome.

Songlady, as the others have said it's always great to get an update from you. It sounds like retirement is agreeing with you & your husband very well. Let us know what your dr says.
