I haven’t posted here in several years but I’ll say the same thing again for those who are suffering.
I got about
90% better after I went on a SCD (simple calorie diet) and slowly reintroduced foods, took CCherbal, high doses of VSL 3 (Visbiome now) and then reduced, and cut out high fructose corn syrup and reduced sugar. I did this all at once because the doc wanted to rip out my colon after treating me with garbage for years, so I threw the kitchen sink at it all at once. I got so good immediately that I ruptured my anus after pooping liquid for over a decade and developed hemorrhoids.
How well I do now is directly correlated to how well I adhere to the above. I’m down to three visbiome pills twice a day, one CCherbal twice a day, small amounts of HFCS (no regular soda ever!), too much sugar, and I eat whatever I want. I poop 2-3 times a day, with control, and no pain except hemorrhoids occasionally. I guarantee I would poop one to two times a day if I cut out sugar and HFCS, especially if I intermittently fasted every day (need to give your colon a break) instead of only on most week days.
I’ve had UC since 2003 and have been better since 2016 and only got bad when I ran out of probiotics, drank HFCS or some other idiotic thing like eat 3 slices of cake.
Side note, after I got better I told my doctor and he didn’t seem to care. I really liked him and thought he really cared but he immediately changed after. He didn’t ask me how I got better and when I told him anyway it was “good I’m glad.” No interest in writing it down or “I’ll tell my other patients.” Nothing.
I haven’t had any confirmation that this works with other people but I never met anyone else with UC. Good luck!
