Going to Cardio doctor today since my last cat scan showed "trace liquid around the heart". I've been reading up on this on the Mayo Clinic site and it's a common thing. Also, my lung surgeon and oncologist said they were not worried about
it but I figure I'll talk to a cardio doctor.
Other than that, my reflux is not that bad right now, which is a good thing. I'm going for a esophacus (spelling) test the second week of January.
My lung, from the surgery is still healing and so far, all clear with the last cat scan. And, I should be health certified with the 9/11 victim compensation fund in a few weeks. Then, the process goes to the compensation part. Also, any doctor visits, tests, medications, etc. in connection with the cancer I had will be all covered by the fund.

Cardio doctor was very good. He told me that the "trace' fluid around the heart is normal, especially after lung surgery and everything looked good. He suggested an echogram (spelling) which I told him I would do. I scheduled that for next week. The EKG was excellent, blood pressure good, etc.

Awesome news, glad to see your dr ordered the echo. I have one yearly, pretty neat what you can see on the screen & when they turn on the sound it reminds me of an old washing machine, lol.
Keep us posted.

Awesome the docs are doing further testing and not just stating all is OK. Not that it isn't...just saying it because I sometimes don't trust first comments as fact😊 but it does take a while to heal as we age 😉
Thanks for your updates.
