There is a current thread about elevated liver enzymes, but I am wanting broader input regarding Milk Thistle. Does anyone take this or have any "testimonies" as to its effectiveness? I am dealing with elevated liver enzymes, and am suddenly more aware of my liver and the impact of this disease on it. Good grief..what isn't affected?

I took it for a while, didn't reduce my liver enzymes at all.
You'll have to do the experiment yourself.

Please don't consume alcohol in any continual amounts and never binge. I'm not assuming you do...just covering that base in general.

I have read that coffee is good for the liver.

Milk Thistle is good stuff!! I'm not so much on it anymore but back in my powerlifting days, I used to take it religiously with all my "supplements" I was taking. Blood tests were always normal.
