Why is my bum burning?

Folks I know I had a fissure and it stopped bleeding, but my bum is still burning. Would you guess it's acid or from the fissure still. I haven't eaten anything spicy either. It's right on the inside of the butt, not on the outside, just right as you enter the butt entrance.

any suggestions to help with the burning where you can put medicine or onitment on the inside?

Bad combo with flare plus fissure.

Do ask the doc for proctocedyl....or use zinc oxide or hydrocortisone cream or even Canesten cream if it's possibly a bit of a yeast infection as well.

Doing a sitz bath can soothe both the sphincter and ease some of the inflammation. Sometimes stool gets into the cut/fissure and causes some inflammation. Witchhazel wipes can help during the day as well.

The Canasa will help, but if you're sensitive to its ingredients (which seems to be your issue)..it can exacerbate symptoms.
