ok to take Nyquil?

Of course it is Saturday and impossible to reach my GI doctor because this is NOT an emergency, but I have a horrible cold. Was wondering if it would be safe to take Nyquil?

Aww, I'm so sorry you have a cold! They are the worst! blech! Yes, I take Nyquil frequently when I have a cold. I always feel better after a good nights sleep so if my nose is really stuffy, I use Nyquil in addition to Vicks 4-way nasal spray to clear me up. But I don't use the Vicks during the day because it can have a rebound effect. I hope you feel better.

Yeah I take nyquil all the time when I have cold, shouldn't harm anything.
