Has anyone had their wisdom teeth removed while on Remicade or 6MP?

I was hoping that my wisdom teeth would grow in properly and I wouldn't have to get them pulled. But one of them is really bothering me. I'm assuming it'd be best to get them pulled right before an infusion since there'd be less Remicade in my body. But all my Remicade infusions fall during the school year...

Do you have to take antiobiotics after getting wisdom teeth removed? As demonstrated by taking Rifaximin, I canNOT handle antibiotics.

My son has a consult with the oral surgeon next week about removing 2 of his wisdom teeth. When I spoke to the GI about this, he said antibiotics would be necessary especially since he is on azathioprine and prednisone and both lower the immune system.

My son also tolerated a 5 day course of azithyromycin, so hopefully that will be one that works on the kind of bacterial they are hoping he can avoid.
