Pregnant and taking Macrobid - Concerned if I'll get C. Diff.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and am remission from UC. I just started taking Macrobid 100 mg twice daily for 7 days - for a bladder infection. I am sensitive to some antibiotics (they cause a flare along with C. Diff.) but I have never had Macrobid. Anyone have any stories about their UC and Macrobid. I am on day 2 and no change yet...

Take probiotics or eat yogurt while on the antibiotics. You should be doing this even if you don't have UC. Make sure you take them a bit apart timewise.

I agree with Malkavian...loading up on probiotics when you're on antibiotics should help counter some of the ill effects...and keep at least a few hours between taking them.
