Another member emailed me this article at my request (Thanks again, Josh). I felt it was important enough start a new thread for. If anyone wants it, please email me directly with your email address since I can't find a way to link it here. The article concerns six kids with moderate-severe Crohn's whose disease was put into remission with a combination of dietary modification and supplements. The article contains details of the exact supplements used and the amounts (these are for children, so would have to be adjusted for any adults who were interested in trying this protocol). Within two months, all six were in remission. Several have been for over 4 years now, one for over 8 years. The authors are out of Columbia University. One of them, a nutritionist, has been very kind in corresponding with my husband in regards to our daughter with UC. He has had Crohn's since he was a teen and has had two-thirds of his digestive tract removed, hence his desire to find a nutritional protocol for the management of IBD. He's been working on this for several decades.
