LMFD296-I agree with the others. I would mention it, but unless it is happening all the time, i wouldn't be alarmed. And I also have a lot of aches, pains and such in my muscles and legs/joints because of prednisone-so I think it could also be from that. When i taper off of pred, I can barely move the joint pain is so bad. When I am on it full dose, my leg muscles are very weak-it is weird.
Anyway, newshinycd, I wanted to tell you that I have had 2 infusions and am still not quite in remission yet, but much improved. After the first infusion, I noticed I was going less often, but was still having blood and things weren't completely formed yet-and I was still having the major cramping and pain and such. After the second infusion, things have come a lot farther-I am now having 1-3 formed stools/day pretty predictably, and prior to starting on this stinking antibiotic for my sinuses (a z-pak), I wasn't seeing any visible blood. Now I am getting some streaks, but I am trying not to panic about it. My doc also said it can take 3-4 infusions to really get into a full remission. And that seems to be the case for me. I have my next infusion on 4/7 and I am hoping it will really get me where I want to be. But I definitely saw a bigger change after the second infusion.
I haven't seen any side effects from the Remi yet, but I have only had 2 infusions and am still on the full dose of pred, so I am not sure what would be from the remi at this point anyway.
