I was speaking with my GE yesterday regarding the gas I experience, and he said to try activated charcoal... anyone have experience using this?
Thanks!

I bought it, meaning to try it, but you can't take it within x hours of your meds, so I haven't found a good time to try it yet..

Hmm interesting... if you don't mind could you give me an update when you decide to try it?
Thanks!

I used to take this regularly, years ago. Certain foods make my belly feel gassy and painful. A capsule or 2 worked wonders! It made the pain go away in 15-20 minutes. Now I just don't eat the foods that cause this.
I found something else from the grocery store that actually worked better...just can't remember what it was called. It was a pink pill in a blister pack. The directions have you suck on the pill until the coating dissolves, then swallow. That worked the best!
I'm not sure if it will cause the "UC gas" to disappear. I think it works best when you eat something that causes gas pain in your belly, and you want that to go away...at least for me it worked that way.
Good luck!
