I found coconut flour too difficult for my gut, along with everything coconut except for coconut oil which is great!
I recently deleted almond flour also from my diet and substituted almond butter and this cut down on my BM# as well as occasional C.
Your gut may be different, mine is pretty picky, and I used almond meal/flour for 1.5 years before figuring out it was slowing things down too much. The only fiber my gut likes (right now) is soluble fiber but I expect to add back almond flour some time in the future so I can have cookies again.
It wasn't the "scratchy" part of either coconut or almond flour, it was the difficulty in processing/digesting it that made me eliminate them. A small amount of almond flour would probably be fine but I ate quite a bit of baked goods daily made with almond flour and that was a problem (although not a big one).
