Cortifoam = worse symptoms?

Hello,

I used Cortifoam last night for the first time. I was able to hold it in and fall asleep. Woke at 3 am with severe stomach cramping and pain. Had a few loose movements (loose is normal for me) and was eventually able to fall back asleep. Now all day I'm having pretty intense pain, cramping, and passing lots more mucus than normal.

Has anyone ever had a similar reaction? I'm scared to try it again tonight since today has been so awful.

I have always used Cortifoam in the morning and it has always helped me with urgency issues. In the height of a terrible flare in February I found that the Cortifoam irritated me and I was not able to hold it in at all. I waited for the prednisone to cool things down and tried it a few weeks later and it was fine. I use Mesalamine enemas at night. Not sure if trying it in the morning will help or to wait for a few days and try it again. You might want to give the doc a call because more pain and discomfort is NOT what you want. Good luck!
