Anal itching after stoma reversal

I think that's called "butt burn" and there are creams that work to help that. I've read that it gets better with time - it's from the acidic stool. As her small intestine "learns" to work more like a colon it will improve (at least it does for most). Maybe you should post on the ostomy board or jpouch.org as some of the jpouchers will see it (though I think a few post here regularly anyway, you're just likely to get more of a response). I hope it all improves and these UC days are soon a distant nightmare.
