I get this occasionally, have any of you experienced this before? Doesn't happen all of the time, but when it does, man does it burn!

sounds like nerve impingement probably pressed on by a muscle in the lower neck or thoracic area.
I get that too, along with other stuff...ugh.
You could try massage, stretching, heat, cold, chiropractor.
