Do any of you guys know if they sell either pentasa or canasa in Mexico or something ?

Pretty much..
I was prescribed Pentasa but the cost was a bit up there. 400$
Is there a generic name that might be cheaper ?

Yes, there is also sallofalk in Canada. It's cheaper than buying it here without insurance. There are generic mesalamine from Canada, India and other places as well.
