Hi, I haven't smoked for a long time, and if I picked up one now and smoked it I would feel dizzy and nauseous, and have the "runs" believe me, I was a heavy smoker, I had to stop because I knew my days were numbered...so I switched to e-cigs.
With regards to yourself, my advice would be to keep at it, you have started this now (although as a non smoker I think you should have tried the patches first) but it is what it is, and I believe you should continue for a bit longer, but my suggestions are this:-
Smoke your first cigarettes after your breakfast, lunch and dinner..NOT on an empty stomach..this is very important.
Make sure you are smoking Mild/medium strengths, not full strength cigarettes.
Unfortunately when you first start smoking you can get the runs, and this could last a few days, I think you need to get past this before deciding its not working for you.
I would try to take just one cigarette today, to keep it in your system...if you can.
Honestly if after a few days you are still having a bad reaction, I would try to get some e-cigs, or nicotine patches, dont just stop, as that would defeat everything you have gone through...
Obviously this is just my opinion, and you must decide what is best for yourself..do keep us informed of how it is going.
