OT - Novel The Martian

Want to read a riveting book/story, one you cannot put down this summer? The Martian by Andy Weir is that book. A mix of Apollo 13, Castaway, elements of The Truman Show, Robinson Crusoe too, all rolled into one awesome debut book by this author.

A facebook friend recommended this book and ever since I checked out the book, I can't wait to get back to my "Mars" book, to see what stranded USA Astronaut Mark Watney is doing now, stuck on Mars (in the future). I just finished it 2 hours ago and want to re-read it already.

All around, great book.

I think it would make for a great movie. I must admit some of the tech terms flew past me but that's okay, there's a lot of funny moments in it too. It's just a great book, a few moments you can just imagine how those would play out on the big screen in a theater (inducing clapping or cheering).
