It is accurate just don't take your measurement on a Single test result, along with it ESR,CRP & stool check for pus cell/RBC..etc should be monitored to collectively form an opinion regarding inflammation.
If you can maintain a fecal calprotectin below 200mg/kg then you have achieved remission, generally you don't want calprotectin to be climbing up.
