Thoreau....it's good there's a lead. Has she been checked for allergies?
Has she been checked fo vitamins d and all b?
How does she sleep during the night...restless or sound? Is she easy to get up in the morning?
Since she has been diagnosed with lyme, is that a possible post symptom?
this is a very difficult thing to deal with, but you're a good sleuth and supportive. How is her reaction to this...and does she have other support as well?

She has a lot of allergies: nuts, cats, seasonal, etc... she's very allergic to many things. She's also been checked for vitamin levels, yes.
I'm definitely leaning towards Lyme. Some of the people on the Lyme forum had been diagnosed with this previous to Lyme. They have also had low hormone levels and thyroid issues, like her. That is where my mind wants to go with this, though it essentially
opens up a huge journey of discovery and potential (if we're lucky) healing.
It sounds like most physician's can put their practice in jeopardy for treating Lyme long-term, so they keep a VERY low profile if they do it. It's doubtful we'll have a physician that does that in or near where we live... so then we'll have to decide what is worth it in terms of traveling.
I wish there were MD's that were solely for the people that cannot be helped by traditional means. It seems like the doctors all want us to be a puzzle piece that fits nicely in with what they've been taught. If they can't figure us out after a while it becomes up to us to push, until we find someone who can help or some answers for ourselves.
Things are definitely getting clearer though, in terms of what she has to deal with and how it has affected her and I's relationship. We're learning to not have hardly any long serious conversations in the late afternoons or evenings because of how low-energy she is. She just starts to shut down on us and gets too sensitive to talk about
certain things.
I guess I don't need a ton of support, I just was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. It will be an interesting new journey...
