Anyone have Colitis related Blood Clots and on Coumadin Long Term?

It's been a long time since I've posted. I just had my 2nd occurrence of pulmonary embolisms in 18 months. My doctor has decided to put me on Coumadin for life. My GI was certain that uncontrolled Colitis was to blame however I had a Flex Sig today and it was clear/NO disease. I have also had 4 doses on Entyvio. The GI has scheduled me for another Flex Sig at the end of Jan to see if everything is still ok. She had me on steroids for 7 months and a portion of that time I was doing Entyvio as well. She wants to make sure Entyvio is working on its own. I've been reading about the different anticoagulants and quite frankly they all scare me a bit. The GI wants me to try xarelto but the Hematologist said NO due to my history with uncontrolled Colitis and bleeding and the inability to reverse xarelto. I tolerated Coumadin well last time but I have no experience with long term use. Any advice would be appreciated.
