C diff questions

I am having my third go around with C diff. First one I was prescribed Vanco. Second, I had FMT and some kind of IV antibiotic. Now I am on Flagyl.

I have had three days of doses, and am not seeing a whole lot of improvement. How long before I can expect to see some?

Am I getting infected each time, or is it a matter of being immunocompromised? I am on Remicade and just finished a pred taper mid-February.

I work in a healthcare office building, and am very careful about touching knobs and handles, wash my hands dozens of times per day (and open doors with the paper towels still in-hand), but since we do not have a restroom in the office we have to use the same one as patients. Sorry (since we're all patients at some point) but EW!

You could try Dificid, it is more effective than Vanco in treating c.diff.
