Have you ever travelled with these enemas? It's necessary to protect them from the heat? Is refrigeration needed?

I don't think so with the enemas. With Canasa I have refrigerated becuase you can't insert them if they get too soft.

Double-check the script
and drug details. My Rowasa specifically states the medicine should be stored between 66 and 77 F, though occasional variances may be acceptable.
